We have been looking forward to this wedding day for over a year and we know that we aren’t the only ones!
It was a common theme throughout all of the speeches from their close friends and family. Everyone mentioned how much each of them was looking forward to the marriage of this couple and how excited they were to be a part of it.
Soldiers Chapel was the perfect, iconic Big Sky venue for this longtime resident groom and Big Sky native bride.
A private first look
Then a few bridal party portraits
The ceremony was a special time that they shared with their bridal party and family, where guests were treated to an unparalleled view on Lone Peak.
Immediately following the ceremony, the celebratory hugs began.
Jenny and Derek joined their reception party under the white tent at Riverside Barbecue, which offers its own stunning views of the Gallatin River and the Gallatin mountain range.
Every corner of the white reception tent was a reflection of Jenny and Derek. No detail was overlooked. SiLaine with Hyalite Events did an amazing job bringing every element together and giving life to Jenny and Derek’s vision for the day in such a beautiful way. Have you ever seen a better seating chart for a Big Sky, MT wedding?!
Everything about this wedding day was full of happiness and joy, but especially when it came to the speeches and dances. There were so many heartfelt words said about the bride and groom, and to the bride and groom. We consider it an honor that we were able to photograph these moments as they unfolded so that Jenny and Derek and their families will be able to look back at their wedding day photos and remember how they felt that day.
In a Pinch Baking created this simple and elegant heart shaped chocolate cake with a beautiful buttercream frosting that was piped in a way that ever so slightly hinted at some vintage vibes.
Once the cake was cut, it was time to party. And this reception party was so good, it deserves its own blog. This crowd kept the dance floor packed all night with the help of the talented DJ Ryan with Catered Rhythms. One song after another, chairs were empty as everyone danced and sang along to the skillfully curated beats.
Jenny & Derek, thank you for choosing us to be your wedding photographers. We thoroughly enjoyed capturing all of the stunning details that you included in your day. It was an honor to be there to document these important memories for you to enjoy for years to come. We are so excited to share your images!
